What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships across personal, farm, and commercial insurance clients through proactive communication, timely follow-up, and attentive service.
  • Identify and pursue new insurance opportunities through in-person, online, and phone interactions.
  • Guide clients through renewals and remarketing when appropriate, ensuring retention through proactive, relationship-focused support.
  • Collaborate with team members, sharing insight and expertise during weekly virtual meetings.
  • Manage policy documentation, audits, and billing accuracy within the agency management system.
  • Approach each day with a solutions mindset and a genuine commitment to helping clients and teammates succeed.
What You’ll Bring
  • Active Nebraska Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
  • 2+ years of personal and commercial lines account management experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and industry procedures
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and office technology
  • Nebraska Life license (preferred, not required)

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Heritage Insurance Opportunities:  As an independent insurance agency, Heritage Insurance represents many highly-rated insurance companies so we can shop around to find the best combination of coverage/product/pricing for our clients.  Our primary focus is working with ag producers and small-to-medium sized businesses.  However, we have a substantial book of personal lines clients as well who we value.  Our agency is growing, and looking to add Producers (sales) and Customer Service Representatives, particularly if you have prior insurance experience.  That said, we're also willing to train so if a career in insurance interests you, let's get acquainted soon.
